Questions about Auth Bot Live, answered plainly
If something here is unclear, that is worth fixing. Read the Terms and Privacy Policy for the formal version.
A member runs /link inside Discord and approves the connection on TikTok's official consent screen. TikTok confirms the account is theirs, and Auth Bot Live grants the Linked role. No passwords, no screenshots, no scraping.
Yes. The Free plan links up to 50 members per server and includes every feature. Unlimited is $2/month (or $20/year) and removes the cap. The member limit is the only difference between the two plans.
Two things: it verifies that a member owns the TikTok they claim through TikTok's own login, and it grants a server-configured Linked role when they link and removes it when they unlink.
Only what the user.info.basic scope returns: the member's display name and avatar, plus the open ID and tokens needed to keep the link working. Auth Bot Live cannot read follower, like, or video counts.
Their stored TikTok data is deleted and the Linked role is removed. If they revoke access inside TikTok, Auth Bot Live is notified through TikTok's authorization-removed webhook and runs the same cleanup, with a token-refresh check as a fallback.
Their linked TikTok is blocked app-wide, so a new Discord account cannot re-link it. Auth Bot Live applies this automatically when it can read the server's audit log (the View Audit Log permission), and an admin can also block a member at any time with /block.
No. Linking requires completing TikTok's own login, so a member can only connect an account they control. One TikTok can also only ever be linked to one Discord account, so a second account cannot claim an already-linked TikTok.
No. It asks for Manage Roles so it can add and remove the Linked role, plus Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History for its replies, and View Audit Log so it can spot Discord bans and block the banned member's TikTok automatically. It never needs to read message content.
Yes. In the dashboard, pick a role from your server's role list and switch role granting on or off. Changes apply the next time a member links or unlinks.
No. There are no announcements, no analytics, no leaderboards, and no follower-count gating. The Login Kit scope Auth Bot Live uses does not grant access to those numbers, so we do not pretend to offer them.
Payments run through Stripe Checkout. You can manage or cancel any time from the billing portal in your dashboard, and Unlimited stays active until the end of the paid period.
Only members with the Manage Server permission can see a server, change its settings, or start a subscription. Members only ever see their own link state.

The fastest path to an answer
